HIGHWAY PATROL RESPONDS TO SCHOOL BUS ACCIDENT IN CUMBERLAND COUNTY

The Tennessee Highway Patrol responded late yesterday afternoon to a vehicle versus a school bus accident in eastern Cumberland County. Trooper Nick Neal says the bus operated by 60-year-old Kevin Howard of Crossville was traveling north on Allen Drive and came to a halt at a stop sign. A KIA Forte driven by 19-year-old Madeline Argue of Rockwood was unable to stop and rear ended Howard. He was able to drive to Pine View Elementary with an initial report of a couple of students on board to be checked out by medics. No injuries were reported in the incident.
