A brave juvenile in Cumberland County got into a confrontation with an intruder in his home on Cook Road Friday afternoon. He entered the dwelling to see an unknown African American male with a bushy beard wearing a red hat and shoes in the kitchen. The teen grabbed a knife and chased the man. The burglar slipped and fell then closed the door on his way out. Law enforcement did not find him after a search of the area. Officers noted the suspect used the shower with a soaked towel left on the floor prior to being discovered in the residence.
