HOMEOWNER REPORTS $6,100 WORTH OF DAMAGE AND STOLEN PROPERTY

Yesterday, Deputy Elijah Tollett responded to Ozone Road about a possible Burglary and Vandalism. Upon arrival, Deputy Tollett made contact with the complainant, who said she discovered items missing or vandalized.

A stolen Water Heater valued at $600, a stolen heating and air unit valued at $3,000, $2,000 worth of damage done to her walls, and a breaker box ripped out of her wall valued at $500 worth of damage and lost property.

She said stated she had the previous tenants were evicted and removed from the residence on December 10th. Tollett spoke with Deputy Turner by phone who said that he did standby on that date while the two removed their belongings from inside the residence, and said they had until December 12th at noon to have their belongings completely removed from the property.

The complainant believes they re-entered the residence sometime between December 10th and 12th where they stole/vandalized the listed items, and believes there is potential damage to pipes and wiring underneath the residence, but doesn’t have a monetary estimate at this time.

No charges have been filed as of yet.
