It was announced Thursday that a new German-based factory will be coming to White County. The Hormann Company manufactures doors, garages, door frames, and gates and will invest almost $64 million in the facility to be located in Sparta. The company plans to create approximately 200 jobs. Company Officials said that Tennessee took the lead for its location immediately and that White County is the perfect site. Construction on the 350,000 square foot facility is expected to begin by early 2018 with operations beginning by the middle of 2019.
