HOUSTON TEXANS PLAYER CHARGED IN NASHVILLE WITH VANDALISM
Hundreds of thousands are flocking to Nashville this weekend for several events, and one of the biggest includes the NFL draft. According to authorities, a player for the Houston Texans was arrested Friday night for vandalizing a hotel while he was allegedly intoxicated. Ryan Griffin, a tight end for the team, is accused of walking past the Indigo Hotel on Union Street and punching out a front window. While being taken into custody, officers noted Griffin’s left hand and fingers were bleeding. According to the report, Griffin was observed by police nearly stumbling into traffic, and that his eyes were red and watery. He was charged with vandalism and public intoxication. The NFL Draft is being held on Broadway in Nashville, with an estimated 200,000 people in attendance for both days so far.
