Lenoir City, Tennessee – Interstate 40 Eastbound and Westbound are completely shut down due to a multi-vehicle accident involving multiple fatalities. It is currently unknown how long Eastbound will remain closed. Lifestar has landed in the Westbound lane to transport a patient. Westbound traffic is expected to resume around 1:20 PM.

The Loudon County Sheriff’s Office, Tennessee Highway Patrol, Loudon County Fire/Rescue, Priority Ambulance Service, Tennessee Department of Transportation, and other first responders are on scene working diligently to free an entrapped victim.
