The notification regarding the crash at mile marker 82 has been removed, and Southbound I-75 is now open again.

ORIGINAL STORY:

A multi-vehicle crash near mile marker 82 has resulted in the closure of I-75 Southbound. Those heading southbound may want to consider heading down Highway 11 to Philidelphia and rejoining I-75 at Pond Creek Rd.

The notification on TDOT’s Smart Ways map reads:

“Interstate 75 Southbound in Loudon – Multi-Vehicle Crash at MILE MARKER 82.2 reported at 2:42 PM 10/22/2024 (Central Time Zone). Southbound Closed.”
