IDENTITIES OF HIGHWAY 68 CRASH VICTIMS DISCLOSED

The identities of two people killed on Highway 68 last week have been disclosed by the Tennessee Highway Patrol.
David S. Norrell, 54, from Spring City driving a 2006 Ford SPE, and Jolen M. Soland, 65, from Crossville, driving a 2025 Subaru Outback.
Also involved in the accident was Norman G. Soland, 69, who survived albeit injured.
The initial report said Norrell was attempting to pass a vehicle in the south lane, realized there wouldn’t be enough room, and overcorrected while trying to merge back into the north lane resulting in the vehicle going out of control.
Norrell’s Ford started to roll, became airborne, and landed on Soland’s Subaru in the south lane.
