The Roane County Sheriff’s Office today released the names of the three found deceased yesterday morning in a home south of Rockwood.

Officers and medics responded to the residence on the 1600 block of Mountain View Road south of Rockwood. They found the bodies of 65-year-old James Latham, Sr., 28-year-old Damian Green, and 23-year-old Jana Barron.

A brother of one of the victims went to the home late Wednesday to check on them and thought they were all sleeping. The brother returned yesterday morning. The three inside hadn’t appeared to have moved.

The brother immediately called 911.

Authorities say the door to the home was open at the time of the discovery.

Roane County Sheriff Jack Stockton stated the preliminary investigation did not find any gunshots or trauma to the bodies.

Authorities are working to confirm an exact cause of death of the three.
