The Cumberland County Sheriff’s Department released the incident report today of an accident Friday that left a woman with serious injuries. Deputies and medics responded to the convenience center on Bean Pot Campground Road where 59-year-old Susan Norris was trapped between a building and her truck. A witness told officers Norris got out of the vehicle then tried to get back in it after it started rolling forward. Norris was drug forward and pinned. The vehicle was moved off of Norris and she was flown by LifeStar to U.T. Medical Center for treatment of injuries sustained. Her condition was not available this morning by hospital officials.
