Bledsoe County Authorities were busy Wednesday cracking down on an illegal drug operation in a Pikeville scrapyard. According to the county sheriff’s Facebook page, deputies served search warrant at the unnamed scrapyard following a tip. An undercover operation by the sheriff’s office revealed the drugs were being sold out of a building on the lot. Enough evidence was collected during the controlled buy for a judge to draw up a search warrant. The post did not name the business nor did it name any of those arrested. It did say that vehicles were seized along with drugs, $2500 in cash and “possible property.” The Pikeville Police Dept. assisted in the case.
