Troopers and paramedics went to the scene of a two vehicle crash yesterday afternoon in Cumberland County on Highway 70 West in Pleasant Hill. The report states a 2007 Chrysler Town and Country driven by 25-year-old Katherine Armstreet of Spencer struck the rear of a 1997 Honda Accord operated by 36-year-old Mark Murphy of Sparta. Armstreet and Murphy sustained injuries. Troopers say both were charged with driving without insurance. Armstreet was additionally cited for failure to exercise due care and improper following.
