On Monday, around 2:40 p.m., a 2012 Ford F250 driven by Reid A Thomas of Indiana was traveling east on Interstate 40 near mile marker 312 when it crossed onto the left shoulder of lane 1, striking the guard rail and causing damage.

The Ford continued to travel in an eastern direction, crossing over the center line and onto the right shoulder against the guard rail, where it came to a final rest on the shoulder.

Thomas sustained injuries from the incident, but his passenger didn’t.
