The Tennessee Highway Patrol and medics responded to a single vehicle accident on I-40 in Putnam County yesterday. Trooper Willie Allison states in his report 50-year-old Frank Wysinger of Knoxville was traveling west at the 283 mile marker when his tractor-trailer left the road flipping onto its right side and struck a large road sign. Allison was restrained and not hurt. A passenger, 61-year-old Ulysses Brown of Nashville, was injured and taken to Cookeville Regional Medical Center for treatment.
