The Martin Lady Eagles defeated Pleasant Hill Saturday by the score of 40 to 21 to win the Cumberland County elementary school basketball championship. Sydney Wilhite lead the Eagles with 17. This is the first basketball title for Martin since the 2004 season. In the boys title game, North Cumberland won over South 45 to 27. Cade Capps led the scoring in the victory with 33 points.
