Law enforcement says a contracted crew was recently removing trees when one came down and fell on top of one of the employees on County Road 461 near Englewood in McMinn County.

Officers say the employee sustained traumatic injuries.

Medics treated the patient on the scene while waiting for LifeForce.

The patient was flown to U.T. Medical Center in Knoxville.

The name of the injured was not released.
