The Tennessee Highway Patrol and medics responded to a vehicle accident yesterday afternoon on I-40 in Roane County.  A 2019 Chevrolet Colorado driven by 44-year-old Barbara J. Orr of Maryville, Tennessee and a 2014 Volvo tractor-trailer operated by 30-year-old Wendell Ka Rin Abrams II of Murfreesboro collided at the 343 mile marker. A passenger in the Chevy, 74-year-old Gary Kazy of Maryville, was hurt. Two others in the automobile, as well as Abrams, escaped injury. All were restrained at the time of the collision.
