INJURY REPORTED IN VEHICLE CRASH ON HWY. 127 IN FENTRESS COUNTY

The Tennessee Highway Patrol and medics responded yesterday to a multi-vehicle crash on Highway 127 next to Martha Washington Road in Fentress County.
The accident report released today states a 2015 Nissan Versa driven by 27-year-old Summer L. Mays crossed the center line in a curve and collided with an oncoming 2012 Ford F-250 pickup operated by 59-year-old William S. King.
The impact sent the truck off the highway and struck a road sign.
The Nissan rotated counterclockwise and came to rest on the road.
Troopers say Mays sustained injuries in the crash.
King was not hurt.
The report states both drivers were restrained at the time of impact.
