A vehicle accident Wednesday night in Roane County resulted in an injury.

Kingston police say a 1996 Dodge driven by a 17-year-old from Kingston rear-ended a Subaru Outback driven by 74-year-old David P. Glockner on West Race Street near the Smokehouse Bar and Grill.

A passenger in the Subaru, 75-year-old Anita Glockner, was taken to the hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

Police noted no other injuries.

The roadway was down to one lane for the duration of the investigation and cleanup of the vehicles.
