INTERIM FOOTBALL COACH NAMED AT GRUNDY HIGH SCHOOL IN WAKE OF RAPE INVESTIGATION
A new coach has been chosen to head-up the Grundy County High School football team in the wake of a rape investigation involving five players. Newschannel 9 is reporting that Nick Meeks has been chosen as interim coach. He is replacing former head coach Casey Tate who has been suspended during the investigation. Meeks will be bringing his coaching staff on-board. Two games remain in the season. They also report that four players out of nine who were suspended were reinstated on Monday after new information about the case came to light. Those players are not among the five who are charged.
