The South Roane County Fire Department along with assistance from investigators with the Meigs County Sheriff Office went to the scene of a fatal house blaze at 327 Dean Drive off of River Road Friday (October 16, 2020). Officers identified the deceased over the weekend as 72-year-old Linda Rogers. A cause of the fire is under investigation and more information will be released at a later time.
