Thanksgiving is just a few days away, and right after that are the annual Christmas parades and events in Roane County.

The Kingston Christmas parade is scheduled for Monday, Dec. 2nd, followed by Harriman’s on Thursday, Dec. 5th, and the city of Rockwood’s Christmas Parade on Monday, Dec. 9th.

Also, The City of Rockwood will host its Christmas Tree lighting ceremony on Saturday at 6:30 in downtown Rockwood at homecoming park with an adjacent craft fair and live music on the stage, featuring Dudley Evans and others that begins around 2:00 p.m.

The Roane Alliance will host their Christmas open house on December 12th.

Plenty of free Christmas movies also at Harriman’s famous Princess Theater throughout the holidays.
