Cumberland County High School is proud to announce J.D. Atkinson will be inducted into the CCHS Hall of Fame this year. Atkinson is a 1961 graduate of Clarkrange High School and Tennessee Tech. He served as an assistant principal at CCHS as well as an assistant coach for the boys and girls basketball team. Atkinson is also known for being on the Cumberland County Fair Association board of directors for 15 years. CCHS will hold a reception for Atkinson September 12, 2019 at 4:45 p.m. in the school library. He then will be the grand marshal for the homecoming parade after the reception.
