Funeral services for James R. Stamps, age 81, of Mayland will be Thursday, January 24, at 8 p.m. at Hood Funeral Home, with graveside committal Friday, January 25, at 11 a.m. in Mayland Cemetery. Family will receive friends Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Hood Funeral Home. He is survived by his widow, Dorothy Stamps; children Mike Stamps, Randy Hybib, Susan Gomez, Debbie Wright and Kathy Peebles; brother David Stamps and sister Gail Moore. Hood Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
