James Woods Raulston, Sr., age 78, of Rockwood, passed away June 26, 2020. He was born April 28, 1942 in Rockwood. He is preceded in death by his wife: Linda Raulston; parents: Raymond & Lona Raulston; sons: James Woods Raulston Jr. & Timothy Wade Raulston; and several brothers and sisters. He is survived by his children: Candi Chruscinski of Tucson, Arizona; Genevieve Clayton of Tucson, Arizona; Nate Raulston of Carlsbad, New Mexico, Kent Raulston of Rockwood; and Mara Nelson of Harriman; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sister: Imogene Bullington of Harriman; and several nieces, nephews, and other extended family members. The family will receive friends Tuesday, June 30, 2020 from 11 a.m. until noon in the chapel of Evans Mortuary in Rockwood. Funeral service will follow. Graveside and interment service will follow in the Odd Fellows Cemetery in Rockwood with military honors by the U.S. Navy Honor Guard and the Roane County Military Memorial Honor Guard.
