Yesterday, County deputies were dispatched to Highway 70 East Dollar General due to a caller stating that a man had stolen the ST Jude’s donation jar from their store. When on the scene, Deputy Tashua Stone spoke with the store manager, who identified the man as Bobby Jolly.

A check of video surveillance footage confirmed Jolly as the suspect, as he is shown at 7:11p:m walking around the cash register looking to see if anyone was around then him before grabbing the jar, shoving it in his jacket, and taking off out the front doors.

When asking the manager for the amount of money taken with the jar, she advised there was approximately one hundred dollars worth
of change in the jar.

Jolly would be arrested later that day by Deputy Harley Shaver and charged with Theft of Property.
