Joseph “Joey” Ryan Whitefield, age 37 of Oliver Springs, TN passed away on Tuesday, September 3, 2024.
Joey loved his family and the times they spent together. Some of his most memorable moments were the family vacations with his siblings and Uncles, Jerry and Tina Hester, Randy and Kim Morgan, and his cousins.
Joey was very educated and attended Law School at Hiwassee College. He used his knowledge to challenge many things throughout his life for the better. He was a great salesman with a photographic memory.
He enjoyed Fishing, family gatherings, making jokes, and putting smiles on peoples’ faces.
His greatest love was his children. And soon to be unborn first grandchild which he will now watch over.
Joey is preceded in death by his Paternal Grandparents: Jessie and Margaret Whitefield and maternal Grandfather James Robert Morgan of Nashville. Step Grandparents Fred and Eileen Mignogna.
His father Thomas Lee Whitefield and Uncle Terry Maynard.
Survived by his children; Talon, Morgan, Taleighanna, Jospeh Ryan Jr., Alani, Libbie, and Kayleighanna.
Mother: Kimberly Regina Morgan, Dad: Brian Patrick Mignogna
Sister; Jayme Finch and her children Jaylee, Brayden, and Bentley.
Sister; Jerika (Shae) Whitefield and husband Chris Bunch, children Jayden, Elijah, and Kyzia.
Brother; Jason Whitefield and children Deinara, Kinsey, Noah, and Jacelyn.
Brother; Shawn Hester.

His beloved Grandmother Beverly Ruth Morgan whom he loved dearly, knowing how much she loved him and was his biggest supporter throughout the years. The one person he knew he could always depend on.
Along with numerous other family and friends.
He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
The family wishes that Joey be remembered for how much love he had in his heart for all of them and to mend relationships and love one another.
That even in death Joey’s love for you will prevail.
There will be a Graveside Service held at the Oliver Springs Cemetery on Saturday, September 14, 2024, at 1:00 pm officiated by Pastor Dean Wright.
