Joyce Ann Patterson Smith, age 78, of Oliver Springs, passed away Friday, December 27, 2019. She is survived by her children:  Greg Patterson (Betty Bunch), Everette (Gwelen) Carroll, Michael Carroll (Tammy Justice), Patricia Kennedy, Dova Fletcher (Lonnie) and Jerry Carroll; special brother-in-law: Herbie Carroll; sisters;  Bobbie Sebier and Shirley Spurlock; 12 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; her beloved pet companion: Molly; and a host of nieces, nephews and other family and friends. The family will receive friends Sunday, December 29, 2019 from 5 until 7 p.m. at Schubert Funeral Home in Wartburg. Funeral services will follow.  Graveside services will be Monday, December 30, 2019 at 11 a.m. at Anderson Memorial Gardens in Clinton.
