JUDGE ISSUES GAG ORDER IN WAFFLE HO– USE SHOOTING CASE
A judge has placed a gag order on the Waffle House shooting case. The order prohibits both the prosecution and defense teams from talking about the case. It also cites a need of a fair trial for Travis Reinking with an impartial jury. The order states any phone calls Reinking makes while in jail may be used as evidence in the case. Reinking is jailed without bond after an extensive manhunt following the April 22, 2018, shooting at a Murfreesboro Pike Waffle House in Antioch, Tennessee. Four people were killed and several others were injured. A motive for the shooting has not been released.
