JUNE 4, 2021 PROCLAIMED CROSSVILLE LIONS CLUB DAY

A proclamation was signed this week honoring the Crossville Lions Club.

It states:

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that we, Allen Foster, Mayor of Cumberland County, and James Mayberry, Mayor of the City of Crossville, do hereby proclaim June 4, 2021 as Crossville Lions Club Day in Crossville and Cumberland County, in recognition of the 25 years of service that the Crossville Lions Club has graciously given to our community. While they are considered a small club, they have represented Lionism with leadership and distinction in our area and beyond!

The Lion’s Club motto is: “We serve.” We take that motto seriously. Their members are men and women who are dedicated to making the community a better place to live. They are involved in community service projects that use their time and talents to provide hands-on assistance to others such as sight and hearing screening to a large percentage of the children in Cumberland County.
