JURY CONVICTS PATSY HENSLEY OF FIRST-DEGREE MURDER
A White County jury today rendered a verdict of guilty for Patsy Hensley charged with the first-degree premeditated murder of her husband, Mark Hensley. She shot the victim twice with a 12 gauge shotgun while he slept in a recliner in a living room. She initially reported to police investigators that “someone” had come into the home and killed her husband while she had left the home for a short time. Patsy Hensley later admitted to the crime. She will face the imposition of life in prison at a future sentencing hearing.
