Loudon County law enforcement responded late yesterday to an area on the 700 block of Clear Branch Road after a 17-year-old male was shot numerous times. Shortly after the incident took place, officers identified the suspect to be a 15-year-old male. He was taken into custody without incident. The victim was flown by Lifestar to U.T. Medical Center where he underwent surgery. The names of the juveniles involved are being withheld since they are both minors. No further information was initially released.
