KEN BARTLEY BACK IN POLICE CUSTODY

The man previously convicted of shooting and killing a Campbell County High School assistant principal in 2015 has been taken back into custody.

Kenny Bartley, now 26-years-old, was booked into jail Monday night on criminal trespassing charges. His bond was set for $1,500.

According to a misdemeanor citation, Bartley was seen at the Salvation Army on North Broadway in Knoxville after he was asked to leave multiple times on Nov. 27, 2017. Bartley allegedly refused to leave, even after the police were called.

A warrant was issued for Bartley’s arrest after he failed to appear in court on the criminal trespassing charges last week.
