London, Kentucky, police say a woman is behind bars facing multiple charges after child services saw the condition of a 27-month-old child in her care. Police say the little boy appeared malnourished and had numerous bruises and cuts. The toddler was transported to University of Kentucky Medical Center for treatment. Detectives arrested 30-year-old Sarah A. Sizemore and charged her with first-degree criminal abuse and endangering the welfare of a minor. Sizemore is the victim’s aunt. Police said the mother of the 27-month-old boy is out of the picture and his father is in jail. Sizemore is scheduled to appear in court today.
