KINGSTON CITY COUNCIL APPROVES BUDGET AMENDMENTS AND LADD PARK UPGRADE UPDATES
Last night, the Kingston City Council convened for a brisk 15-minute session to address municipal business and board memberships.
Key Actions and Budget Updates
The council swiftly advanced two routine budget adjustments on their first readings:

Following the general council business, the Beer Board adjourned without discussion, leading directly into the Water Board meeting. Directors approved connecting sewer service to Confluence Drive, which will be executed using city labor under Water and Sewer Director Kevin Hamilton to reduce costs.
Ladd Park Renovation Progress
City Manager David Bolling provided residents with a status update on Ladd Park restorations. Construction is actively underway, with the pavilion and restroom facilities delivered to the site for complete modernization. A new boat ramp is also slated for construction, with completion anticipated around winter.
