KINGSTON CITY COUNCIL TO MEET TONIGHT AT 6
The Kingston City Council will meet tonight (Tuesday, April 7th) at 6 PM for their monthly work session. On the agenda will be a discussion about closing streets for a July car show, a review of the budget ordinance, and a proposed revision to part of the municipal code regarding limitations on the number of retail licenses for the sale of alcoholic beverages. There will also be continued discussion on revisions to policies and procedures relating to the catastrophic water bills that some customers of Kingston’s water and sewer system are experiencing.
As mentioned during the last council meeting, the purchaser of the property that the City of Kingston bought from Calvary Baptist Church—and later sold to a developer—is expected to attend tonight’s meeting to share his plans for the 3.5 acres of land on Roane Street in Kingston.
