KINGSTON POLICE ARREST DRUNK DRIVER ON HALLOWEEN

From the Kingston Police Department:

On 10/31/2025, at approximately 1915 hours, officers were working traffic control on Bailey Road in 200 block of Bailey Road due to a large volume of children going trick or treating.

Officers observed a white Chevrolet Tahoe run off the road and hit two mailboxes and continued traveling on Bailey Road. Officers at the intersection of Bailey Road and Kingston Hwy stopped the vehicle.

Officers made contact with the driver, Kimberly Cox, 41 years old. Officers immediately detected the odor of alcohol coming from the driver.
Standardized field sobriety tasks were performed by Kimberly Cox. She performed poorly on all tests given.

Kimberly Cox was placed under arrest for DUI. Officers transported her to Roane Medical Center where a blood draw to determine the alcohol content of her blood was performed. She was then transported to the Roane County Detention Facility for processing and incarceration.
