From the Kingston Police Department:

On 09/25/2025, at approximately 1000 hours, officers with the Kingston Police Department responded to the Gravel Pit located at 303 W. Race Street. Officers had been dispatched due to a welfare check on a subject slumped over in a vehicle. Officers discovered Mark A. Gwyn, 64, deceased inside of his vehicle. Detectives and the medical examiner’s office responded. After an investigation was completed, it was determined that Mr. Gwyn had passed away due to natural causes.
