Just before 7 pm last night (Tuesday), The Kingston Police Department, along with Fire Department personnel and First Responders, and an ambulance were dispatched to the area near Bunch Marine on Highway 70 (Roane State highway) where a motorcycle was lying in the roadway with the driver also in the roadway.

According to the report from the Kingston Police officer a female operator of a 2021 Kawasaki was injured after the motorcycle she was operating struck a large rock in the left lane of Highway 70 causing the motorcycle to crash.

The operator was identified as 33-year-old Constance Holbrook from Harriman.

She was taken to the Roane Medical Center by ambulance.

No further details were given. The highway was closed down to one lane for the duration of the investigation and removal of the motorcycle from the roadway.
