KIRK DOUGLAS CLARK PLEADS GUILTY TO MURDER CHARGES

Court official say 35-year-old Kirk Douglas Clark entered a plea of guilty in Cumberland County Criminal Court today to second-degree murder. He received a 40 year sentence to serve at 85 percent. Clark also was found guilty of two counts of attempted second-degree murder and got 20 years for each. The times in prison will be served concurrently.

Back in January 2019, law enforcement responded to a shooting at 8610 Cherokee Trail. They found three wounded. Linda Damewood died from injuries sustained and 63-year-old Andrew Schan and 73-year-old Ellen Cairns, were hurt. Clark and his wife, 35-year-old Doneal Marie Clark, were both arrested.

Doneal Clark was sentenced in February of this year to life in prison with the possibility of parole for felony murder in her role in the incident. She also received two 25 year sentences on two counts of attempted first-degree murder to serve concurrently.
