The Knox County Sheriff’s Office is continuing their investigation an incident which occurred early Saturday morning around 3:30 AM and left two people in the hospital with the suspect at large. Officers were called to the Cedar Bluff Waffle House where they found one person had been shot and another wounded with a knife. Both victims are being treated at UT Medical Center. The suspect is described as a black male, mid 20s, dark complexion, 5’9′, around 180 pounds, wearing blue jeans and possibly a red and white shirt. He is believed to be armed with a black semi-automatic handgun and should be considered dangerous. If you have any information, you may contact KCSO at 215-2243.
