KNOX COUNTY SCHOOL BUS DRIVER ACC– USED OF TAPING STUDENT’S MOUTH SHUT

A Knox County school bus driver has been removed from his position after he was accused of taping some student’s mouths shut with duct tape. The driver’s identity has not been released. The Knox County Sheriff’s Office was notified of the incident, along with school officials by one of the student’s mother who had to transport her son to the hospital because of the incident which left bruising. Other parents from Hardin Valley Elementary complained but sheriff’s investigators could not comment on the case because minors were involved. A representative from the Knox County School System commented that the incident had been reported to authorities and addressed by school officials.
