KNOXVILLE HUMAN TRAFFICKING STING LEADS TO ARREST OF FORMER BASEBALL COACH

On April 21 in Knoxville, Tennessee, law enforcement conducted a human trafficking sting operation at a hotel on Papermill Drive, resulting in multiple arrests. According to court records, officers used an undercover agent who posed as a 14-year-old to arrange sex acts for $200.

Adrian Gonzalez Ramirez was one of those arrested and charged with patronizing prostitution from a victim under 15 years old. Separately, 44-year-old Christopher Goodrich, a former Knoxville baseball coach who worked for Perfect Game, faced a similar undercover operation and was charged with the same offense after arranging to receive sex from the purported minor. At least one additional person is also facing charges in connection with the bust.
