KPD STEPS UP TRAFFIC ENFORCEMENT FOR LABOR DAY WEEKEND
Knoxville Police Department officers will be conducting high-visibility traffic enforcement on major thoroughfares throughout Knoxville all this weekend and Labor Day.
Officers will focus their efforts on addressing reckless and careless driving as part of an ongoing effort to keep the roads safe and prevent harmful crashes.
The Labor Day holiday is an especially busy travel weekend all across the country, and traffic is expected to be heavier than normal here locally.
As always, please drive safely and attentively. Slow down, buckle up, keep your eyes on the road, and find a sober ride if you’re under the influence.
