Cumberland County firefighters responded yesterday to a large brush fire off Hillendale Road.

The Crossville Fire Department and state forestry crews also responded with mutual aid.

Officials say multiple structures had to be protected before forestry crews established containment lines.

Firefighters also responded to a brush fire inside Lake Tansi community before this.

Officials ask the public not to burn anything outdoors until significant rain falls.
