Cumberland County firefighters and medics responded to two accidents nearly at the same time this afternoon. The first involved a tractor-trailer at the 331 mile marker of I-40. The driver sustained a head injury and Lifestar was called to land near the Crab Orchard City Hall to fly him to a trauma center for treatment. The second took place on Highway 127 South at Old Highway 28 with two vehicles. Full reports will be released later.
