People from across the country will gather this afternoon (Tuesday, June 5, 2018) to say a final goodbye to Sgt. Daniel Baker, who was killed in the line of duty last week. The funeral will be held at 1 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Dickson, Tennessee. The service is open to the public. Baker was shot and killed while responding to a report of a suspicious vehicle last Wednesday. Suspected gunman Steven Wiggins was a fugitive for two days until he was captured last Friday. A woman who was with Wiggins, Erika Castro-Miles, is charged with first-degree murder. Hundreds of people turned out for the fallen deputy’s visitation yesterday.
