LAWSUITS FILED IN OOLTEWAH HIGH SCHOOL RAPE CASE
Three former employees of Ooltewah High School have filed a lawsuit claiming that their constitutional rights were violated following a rape scandal involving the school’s basketball team. Former OHS principal James Jarvis, former athletic director Allard Nayadley and former coach Andre Montgomery say that “false facts” were released concerning the case and that officials “reacted in knee-jerk fashion.” All three say they were mistreated after the alleged events took place. In December 2015, three students, who were on a team visit to Gatlinburg, allegedly raped another student with a pool cue.
