LCSO: SUBJECT KILLED FAMILY DOG AND NOW BARRICADED HIMSELF

LENOIR CITY, TN – At approximately 1:45 pm the Loudon County E-911 Center received a call from a resident in the 11000 block of Hwy 11 E in Lenoir City.
The resident informed dispatch that his son, identified as, Darian Farley, had killed their family dog and was threatening harm to him. There was an additional resident in the house in an upstairs bedroom.
Loudon County Deputies responded to the scene and were able to remove the father and another resident of the house safely. Darian Farley then barricaded himself into the basement of the residence to avoid contact with deputies.
Loudon County Detectives are in the process of writing warrants on Farley at this time and the Blount County Sheriff’s Office SWAT Team is en route to assist in removing Farley safely from the house and taking him into custody.
