MIDTOWN BODY SHOP SHOOTER OUT OF HOSPITAL

The suspect in the Midtown Auto Body shooting, Brian Patrick Wilson, was released from the hospital last week and has been in custody at the Roane County Jail since.

He had been in the hospital recovering from gunshot wounds after his alleged role in the shooting of the owner of Midtown Body Shop, Rocky King, and his daughter and then fatally shooting Amanda Weaver. Wilson faces 10 previous charges listed in the jail records but it’s unknown if the charges are related to the incident or previous charges which he was in jail for. On March 30th, Wilson had made bond and went to the Body Shop and began shooting at the victims before he was shot attempting to flee by a THP Trooper.

The charges listed on him:

  • Unlawful Possession of a firearm by a person convicted of a felony drug offense or violent felony
  • Driving Under The Influence
  • Implied consent License suspension
  •  Driving On Revoked/Suspended License x 2
  • Domestic Assault x 2
  • Child abuse where the child is 8 or less
  • Vandalism ($1,001-$9,999)
  • Assault (Simple)

The charges in the incident that occurred on March 30th against Wilson more than likely will be forthcoming as soon as he has a court appearance on that incident which is still under investigation by the TBI.  Wilson is currently being held on no bond at the Roane County Jail.
